Sometimes a role undeniably belongs to one actor. Whether because of appearance, personality, or history there are great parts which could never be inhabited by any other person. Mickey Rourke looks set to inhabit one of those timeless characters as he fills the lace-up boots of small time wrestler Randy "The Ram" Robinson with the passion only someone who has been through the ups and downs of a tumultuous career could muster.We also see another career-rollercoaster-rider, Marisa Tomei, playing an aging stripper who becomes involved with Rourke. Two actors asking for second chances and it looks like we should give it to them.
I watched the trailer off Apple Trailers for The Wrestler. The movie is due out for limited release on Dec. 17th.
